Hey guys welcome and I hope you enjoyed this video. This recipe is fully vegan (as always) and the perfect alternative to scrambled eggs for breakfast! This is just my version of how I make them so feel free to make changes as you please. I did sprinkle black pepper off camera at the end to give it that perfect garnish. (Turmeric and black pepper also help intensify each others’ health benefits) Keep in mind this is all done on medium/high heat. 1/2 black organic tofu
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon himalayan salt
1/2 teaspoon nutritional yeast
1 small tomato chopped
3 small sweet bell peppers (I used yellow, orange and red)
1/8 package of veggie sausage from the brand Lightlife
1 tablespoon vegan butter
1-2 handfuls vegan mozzarella cheese from the brand Daiya
I do want to find another good vegan brand that makes cheese since Daiya has sold their company to another one that is NOT cruelty-free so, if any of you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments down below. I would GREATLY appreciate it! I do find that good vegan cheese is the one thing that is super difficult to find.
These are all approximate measurements. I honestly just eyeball it and taste it as I’m cooking to get it exactly to my liking. As I mentioned earlier you can add and take away as you please. This is just how I make my tofu scramble and honestly it’s my favorite version that I’ve made by far. I found that this goes super well with berries in the morning, fresh parsley and I made mango salsa… I’ll have the recipe to that up soon as well!
